Bio

Born in Liverpool, England, Dawn moved to Australia with her parents and younger sister when she was 5 years old. She was always musically talented from a young age, loving to sing for people whenever she could. She starting writing lyrics and poems in primary school and began adding music to her lyrics throughout her teens.

“Song writing is in my blood. It’s who I am. The curse and beauty of being a songwriter is there is never a moment when you don’t have some sort of melody or lyric inside your head! Everywhere I go, I carry a book, my favourite pen and my phone to capture the thoughts and tunes while they’re fresh in my mind, then I’m straight into my music studio, with a huge whiteboard, jotting down lyrics until they become a complete song.”

Dawn is currently living on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria, Australia with her family. ‘Epiphany’ is Dawn’s first EP release with 7 of her original songs. “I think now is the time for me to keep pushing forward, writing song after song. I couldn’t think of a better way to spend my days!”
